Chiesa della Compagnia della Buona Morte – Church of the Company of Good Death

I lavori, eseguiti da Bino Sozi su progetto di Vincenzo Danti, si protrassero fin oltre il 1600.

La struttura architettonica è a croce greca, con una cupola sopra un alto tiburio. Ha un ricco portale manieristico del 1606, sormontato da una trabeazione di tipo classico a metope di tondi e triglifi. L’interno è stato rinnovato nel Settecento; vi si conservano tele e stucchi di Francesco Busti, Cristoforo Gasperi e Antonio Maria Garbi (XVIII sec.).
Sopra l’altare maggiore è una tela raffigurante Ognissanti del XVII sec. di Felice Pellegrini entro una cornice architettonica intagliata e dorata.

The construction works, by Bino Sozi  based on the project by Vincenzo Danti, were completed only after 1600.

It bestows a Greek cross plan and a dome above a high lantern tower. It shows a rich mannerist portal of 1606, surmounted by a classic entablature with metopes of circles and triglyphs. The interior has been renovated in the XVIII Century; here paintings and stuccos by Francesco Busti, Cristoforo Gasperi and Antonio Maria Garbi (XVIII Century). Above the main altar a painting with all saints of the XVII Century by Felice Pellegrini inside an architectonic carved and gilded frame.
