L’esposizione permanente dell’opera grafica di Diego Donati, ripropone fedelmente lo studio-laboratorio del frate incisore che si trovava situato nel Convento di Monteripido.

La Galleria conserva i torchi utilizzati per la stampa e altri strumenti per la preparazione e la morsura delle lastre. Sono esposte inoltre più di 200 opere tra xilografie, acqueforti e acquetinte realizzate dal 1953 agli anni ’90 che rappresentano suggestive vedute della città e del paesaggio umbro.

Permanent exhibition of the graphic works by Diego Donati; the study-workshop of the Friar-engraver is reproduced almost exactly as it was in the Monteripido Convent.

The Gallery exhibits the presses used for the printing and other instruments for the preparation of the slates. More than 200 works are on exhibition: woodcuts, etchings and aquatints produced by Padre Diego from 1953 to the ’90s. The works of the artist represent the views and charming atmospheres of the city and of the Umbrian landscape.
