È ubicato all’interno dell’ex Chiesa parrocchiale Santa Maria di Colle, ristrutturata nel ‘700 dall’architetto Alessio Lorenzini
L’accogliente ambiente è adibito a sala da concerto dal 1961, quando fu dotato di un organo Mascioni di 1375 canne, 3 tastiere e pedaliera. Due pianoforti a tre quarti di coda permettono esecuzioni di grande interesse artistico che ne fanno un eccellente locale per la musica da camera. Qui si svolgono ogni anno le “stagioni concertistiche” nonché incontri artistici, culturali e conferenze.
L’Auditorium custodisce anche dipinti del XVII-XVIII sec., di autori quali Benedetto Bandiera, Giacomo Boccanera, Cristoforo Gasperi, Vincenzo Monotti. La gestione è affidata all’attiguo Istituto Musicale Diocesano ”G. Frescobaldi”.

The welcoming ambient is designated as concert hall since 1961, when was provided of a Mascioni pipe organ composed by 1375 organ pipes, 3 keyboards and a pedalier. Two pianos allow very interesting artistic executions that make the auditorium an excellent place for chamber music. Every year it houses “concert seasons”, artistic and cultural meetings and conferences.
The auditorium also preserves painting of XVII and XVIII century, by Benedetto Bandiera, Giacomo Boccanera, Cristoforo Gasperi, Vincenzo Monotti. The management is entrusted to the musical diocesan institute “G. Frescobaldi”.
