Chiesa e Oratorio di Sant’ Agostino – Church and Oratory of Sant’Agostino

Chiesa gotica con facciata in pietre bianche e rosa, ha un portale gemino con rifacimento manieristico nella parte superiore.
L’interno, ad una sola grande navata, fu ristrutturato tra ’700 e ’800.Nelle cappelle laterali si conservano dipinti del ‘300 e del ‘500, tra cui quelli di Arrigo Fiammingo e Giannicola di Paolo.  Il complesso monastico è stato per lungo tempo adibito a caserma.
Su lato destro della chiesa, si trova un Oratorio, strutturato in due piani sovrapposti. Il più antico ha un’unica aula decorata da affreschi di notevole qualità del ‘300 e ‘500; l’altro, realizzato nella metà del ‘500, venne rinnovato nel ‘600 con pregevoli arredi barocchi e, in sagrestia, con dipinti del ‘700.

The Gothic church, with white and pink stone façade, has a twin portal redone at the top in the Mannerist style.
The interior has a single nave, and was renovated in the XVIII and XIX Centuries. The side chapels have frescoes from the XIV and XVI Centuries, including those by Arrigo Fiammingo and Giannicola di Paolo. The monastery was used for many years as a barracks.
On the right side of the church there is an oratory, with two superimposed levels. The older one has a nave decorated with excellent XIV and  XVI Century frescoes; the other level, built in the mid XVI Century, was renovated in the XVII Century with valuable Baroque furnishings and, in the sacristy, with paintings of the XVIII Century.
